It’s been a busy month for us at Sporting Pay, and now we’ve another absolutely massive announcement to make: we are going to be Hull Kingston Rovers front of home shirt sponsors for the remainder of 2021.
We’ve entered into a partnership that includes an agreement to sponsor the home shirt while we work with the club to ensure a smooth transition to a cashless stadium, ensuring the safest possible environment for the return of staff and fans in the near future.
This historic rugby league team, established way back in 1882, will be the latest club to join us as a sporting partner. We’ve all missed being at sporting events, and rugby league fans are no different there. Before Covid, rugby league matches in England regularly set attendance records and this trend has been matched by our new partners at Hull KR who, in the pre-Covid days, were recording increasing attendances — the 2019 season, our last full pre-Covid sporting season on record, saw the biggest increase in attendances at Hull KR since 2011 — a trend we sincerely hope to see continuing when we’re all allowed back in a few months time.
